CME Program Mission Statement: The purpose of the UCAOA CME Program is to provide quality education for urgent care practitioners so they improve their competence, performance and outcomes in the areas of clinical practice and clinic management.
The UCAOA educational activities address areas of core competence to urgent care practitioners including clinical areas of Pediatrics, Orthopedics, Minor Trauma, Dermatology, Allergy, ENT, Eye, Neurology, GI, Cardiovascular, and Pulmonary; and practice management areas of Operations, Billing & Collections, Accounting & Finance, Legal & Regulatory, Human Resources, and Communications/Marketing.
The target audience for the UCAOA CME Program is individuals practicing urgent care medicine.
Educational activities are provided in a variety of formats including: Live courses, Live webinars, and Internet enduring materials.
The UCAOA CME Program fosters the continuing professional development of practitioners through educational activities to improve their competence, performance and outcomes in the areas of clinical practice and clinic management. The expected results of the CME program are: 1) At least 85% of learners will indicate that learning objectives were substantially or completely met; and 2) The majority of learners will indicate that their practice based performance and patient outcomes will improve.
