Course Objectives:                    

At the conclusion of this session, participants should be able to:      

  • Utilize available data and assemble that data into a knowledge base.
  • Analyze available clinic performance data versus industry and other publicly available data.
  • Create stakeholder access so the data allowing query and data mashup across multi-source data objects.
  • Produce readable, actionable reports.
  • Integrate results to plan–do–study–act (PDSA) cycles

Faculty Bio:

Beth Agen, MBA, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, Norwalk Community Health Center

Beth is presently pursuing a Doctorate of Education in Organizational Leadership with an emphasis in Organizational Development. She is studying the relationship between the nine domains of job satisfaction and an employees intent to leave an urgent care organization. She received her MBA with a Leadership emphasis from Liberty University and her Bachelor's Degree in Communication-Media from St. Norbert College in DePere, Wisconsin. Beth's key core competencies are performance quality improvement and human resources, evaluating and recommending changes to daily operations at treatment facilities using a variety of metrics and performance quality improvement tools, gathering data on business operations and assessing performance against strategic goals and industry benchmarks. She has also successfully led the process of securing the seal of approval from the Council on Accreditation, as well as licensing from the Connecticut Department of Public Health and the Connecticut Department of Children and Families. Beth has been instrumental in the planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating of the human resource function in profit and nonprofit organizations. Her interestes include evaluating and advising on the impact of long range planning of new programs/strategies and regulatory action as those items impact the attraction, motivation, development and retention of the people resources of the corporation. Beth is the proud mother of Libby, the Chocolate Lab, Pork Chop, the English Bulldog, Hope, the Cocker Spaniel, and D'Argo the Great Dane. If you hear her say something makes her "nerd happy," that's a good thing.
