Shaun Ginter – President & CEO, Urgent Care Centers of New England / CareWell Urgent Care Shaun is a seasoned leader in the healthcare services industry, with a resume of executive level management positions and a celebrated aptitude for driving profitable growth. As the president and CEO of Urgent Care Centers of New England / CareWell Urgent Care, Shaun has harnessed his operational expertise to propel CareWell forward as a leading provider of on-demand, high quality and affordable neighborhood healthcare in New England. CareWell’s patient-centered approach, full time Board-certified physicians and emphasis on full collaboration with the patient’s regular healthcare team ensures patients receive the highest quality care available. Prior to joining CareWell, Shaun was the COO of Solantic Walk-In Urgent Care (now CareSpot) of Jacksonville, Fla., one of the nation’s largest providers of urgent care, wellness and occupational health services. During his four years with Solantic, Shaun’s effective operational strategies and tactical expertise in retail-driven environments allowed the company to grow from 11 to 37 clinics. Shaun has also held executive positions as the CEO of both Goverline and Blue Medical Supply, Inc., and Regional VP for Rite Aid Drug stores. Shaun currently holds board positions with Urgent Care Assurance Company and Urgent Care Centers of New England. He is a member of the American College of Health Care Executives, National Association of Corporate Directors, and the Association of Corporate Growth. Shaun holds BSBA and MBA degrees.
William Duggan Jr., Attorney
As Senior Claims Counsel at ESIS ProClaim for the past nine years, Bill manages claims for numerous healthcare clients: hospital SIRs, physician groups, RRGs and Captive programs. His professional and varied career encompasses the following: Claims Consultant for a regional TPA; Senior Vice President for two national health care insurance brokers; Special Insurance Consultant to a national healthcare system; Vice President for two health care liability insurers, Director of Legal Affairs for a major healthcare system; and a Trial Attorney with a large urban defense firm. Bill has a JD from the University of Detroit School of Law and a BA in Philosophy/Psychology from the University of Detroit. An active member of the Michigan State Bar, he also maintains Property, Casualty & Life, Accident & Health insurance licenses. He is a Founder and Past Board Member of the Michigan Society of Healthcare Risk Management. He is a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Parish Council, and has served as President of the OLS School Board; of the Farmington Hills Hunt Club Homeowners Association; and of Hospice Support Services. Married to Molly, he is the father of four.
Lee Resnick, MD, President
Lee A. Resnick, MD leads the national effort to bring academic rigor and clinical excellence to urgent care medicine. He was the founding national program director for the only clinical fellowships in urgent care medicine and serves as Editor-In-Chief of The Journal of Urgent Care Medicine, the discipline’s only peer-reviewed journal. He is also the founder and president of the Institute of Urgent Care Medicine, specializing in the development of continuing education programs designed specifically for urgent care medicine. Recent medical education projects include: The Core Content in Urgent Care Medicine, a 60 hours video CME program, The Core Content in Urgent Care Nursing and Medical Assisting, with over 50 video lectures and demonstrations, and the Textbook of Urgent Care Medicine, the only comprehensive reference text in the discipline. Dr Resnick was also a founding board member and past president of the Urgent Care Association of America (UCAOA), where he was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award. He currently serves as Chief Medical Officer of WellStreet Urgent Care, a network of urgent care centers in the Atlanta metropolitan area.
Jordan Ready, ACI, CPCU, CRIS, Senior Program Manager
Jordan Ready is a Senior Program Manager for the Urgent Care Assurance Company RRG, Inc. (UCAC). For the past several years, she has underwritten malpractice liability for a nationwide network of urgent care owners and physicians. Jordan has also focused on collaborating with actuaries developing competitive rates for the program and analyzing and enhancing coverage offerings. She works closely with the claims administrator to ensure members are involved with the handling of their claims in every step of the process, and have control over their malpractice products and service. Jordan has obtained multiple certifications, including the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation and Associate in Captive Insurance (ACI). As Senior Program Manager in Assurance Jordan works with a variety of business owned and controlled insurance companies including captives, risk retention groups, and self-insured group trusts.
