Michael F. Boyle, MD, MBA, FACEP
Dr. Boyle is the Regional Medical Director for ECI Healthcare Partner’s Inc. managing hospital affiliated Emergency Departments and Urgent Care Centers in the Northeastern United States. He is trained and board certified in Emergency Medicine with over 20 years of clinical and administrative experience, is a certified DOT Examiner, and obtained an MBA in Healthcare Management. He published the first book on the management of Urgent Care Centers (The Healthcare Executives Guide to Urgent Cares Center and Freestanding EDs, 2012, Healhtleaders media, www.hcpro.com) and has written extensively on emergency medicine, urgent care, provider efficiency and operations management in healthcare. He lectures with UCAOA and several other organizations along with providing consultative services to hospital systems, private venders, and interested investors. Working with over 20 healthcare systems, he has assisted in ED/Urgent Care design, Hospital Wide Efficiency, Patient Satisfaction, Revenue Cycle Management, and Healthcare reform processes. He works in telemedicine and triage programs providing direct patient care, evalautes revenue potential and flow improvements with directed patient referrals.
