Faculty Bio:

  • Laurel Stoimenoff, PT, CHC is an owner and co-founder of Continuum Health Solutions, a consulting firm focused on the urgent care and rehabilitation sectors. She is a seasoned medical executive with over 30 years of hospital and ambulatory care management experience. As a licensed physical therapist Laurel began her career as a partner building a multi-site, multi-state physical therapy business which sold to the publicly traded company NovaCare Rehabilitation in 1990. She subsequently went on to hold leadership positions with NovaCare up to Western Region President. She then went on to serve as President of MATRIX Rehabilitation, a division of Beverly Enterprises. After leaving Beverly, Laurel served as an Executive Vice President of Development for Comprehensive Medical Imaging, a division of Syncor International where she was responsible for de novo, acquisition and partnership growth. Laurel joined NextCare Urgent Care in 2004 and supported its growth via both de novo and acquisitions from 9 to over 60 centers and work-site medical clinics serving in several executive roles including President and SVP of Development. In late 2010 Laurel and her business partner launched Continuum Health Solutions. Continuum has partnered with a variety of organizations to launch their urgent care strategy, including small and large hospital systems, physician groups and private equity. She also supports the physical industry in various capacities including occupational medicine strategies. Laurel is serving her second term as member of the Urgent Care Association of America‚Äôs Board of Directors as a member of the Executive Committee. She also Chairs the Health & Public Policy Committee and Co-Chairs Accreditation and Certification. Laurel is certified in healthcare compliance by the Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA).
