Steve Sellars is the CEO of Premier Health. Premier Health owns and operates 30 urgent care centers through several joint-venture relationships and provides management services, consulting services, and support for physician practices and other healthcare organizations. Steve has more than 23 years of healthcare management experience, including eight years in the managed care industry and five years with the largest health system in the Gulf South. Steve has worked exclusively in urgent care management for the last 11 years, working with Premier Health's leadership team to grow the company by more than 500% over the last 5 years. His background includes significant executive management experience with physician groups, hospitals, and other healthcare organizations. In addition, Steve has extensive experience in practice management, site selection and practice expansion, managed care contract negotiations, and strategic planning and development. Steve is the President-Elect of the Urgent Care Association of America, Vice-Chair of the Baton Rouge Primary Care Collaborative, and is a board member for a multi-site rehabilitation company. Steve also serves as the Chairman of the UCAOA Education Committee, is a member of the UCAOA Finance Committee, and a member of the Medical Group Management Association. Steve is an adjunct faculty member at Our Lady of the Lake College. Steve received his Bachelor's and Master's of Business Administration from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
