This course will use real examples from a regional urgent care operator to discuss the most effective types of grassroots and community marketing activities for your local market. Techniques and insights on how identify, utilize, and execute grassroots and community marketing as a part of your center’s overall marketing plan will be discussed. Discussion will include using various marketing channels such as—paid advertising—social media—public relations—business-to-business outreach and what did and didn't work from a Return on Investment standpoint.

Logan McCall, MBA, CMPE
Logan McCall is the Chief Executive Officer of ZipClinic Urgent Care Centers which operates Urgent Care Centers under various names in Colorado, Montana, Mississippi and Kentucky; and is a Senior Consultant with UrgentCareConsultants.com. McCall was formerly Chief Executive Officer of Carolina Quick Care Urgent Care Centers. McCall directed the operations of multiple urgent care centers and a separate billing operation in North Carolina until their acquisition by a strategic operator in 2014. Logan has worked to increase revenue and develop new markets and profitable strategies for further expansion which includes medical real estate development and site selection. McCall began his healthcare experience redeveloping and marketing diagnostic services for a North Carolina hospital system. McCall has been continuously in the urgent care industry since developing a freestanding center in 1994. In 2001 Logan also co-founded and held the role of CEO/COO of a regional diagnostic sleep disorder testing provider operated as Carolina Diagnostics. While the 7th center was under development, the entire operation was acquired by the largest sleep disorder testing provider in the United States. Logan is a frequent speaker on Urgent Care and Occupational Medicine issues at national conferences and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Urgent Care Association of America (UCAOA) and is a member of the National Association of Occupational Health Professionals (NAOHP). Logan has achieved the Board Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) designation in the American College of Medical Practice Executives (ACMPE) and is one of a select number to earn the Urgent Care Management Certificate from the UCAOA. Logan received a BSBA in Marketing from Western Carolina University and an MBA from East Carolina University. Logan is an active leader in the Boy Scouts of America.
