<p>Pediatric X-ray diagnoses pose challenges to clinicians for several reasons. Distinct disease processes occur throughout the body and present differently in children than they do in adults. This course focuses on a few entities unique to the pediatric age group and examines a few normal variants that often lead to confusion and misdiagnosis.</p><p>1 hour Audio and Power Point Presentation</p><p>Recorded April 17, 2016</p><p><strong>Faculty Bio: <span style="letter-spacing: normal; background-color: rgb(252, 253, 254);">Jonathan Gusdorff, DO</span></strong></p><div style="width: 950px; padding-top: 7px; letter-spacing: normal; background-color: rgb(252, 253, 254);">Jonathan Gusdorff, DO is a board-certified radiologist who offers unique insights into the urgent care industry. He obtained his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, completed a residency in diagnostic radiology at Bryn Mawr Hospital and then a postgraduate fellowship in Neuroradiology at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. In 2011, due to emerging trends in medicine, Dr. Gusdorff decided to pursue a career as an urgent care entrepreneur. He saw great opportunities in the Philadelphia Metropolitan area, a region of the country that was ripe for high-quality, immediate medical services outside the hospital environment. His first center was profitable within six months. Within 2.5 years later, he opened three additional centers across two counties in the suburban Philadelphia market. Even in the face of competition emerging in the area, Gusdorff continued to operate his centers in the black. He is considered an expert with competencies related to opening centers and making them profitable relatively quickly. He also an expert in finding new opportunities for centers to deliver better, more efficient healthcare to patients, and decreasing costs without sacrificing overall care. At his centers, best practices were implemented, outcomes were positive and satisfied patients and staff were the norm. In January 2015, Dr. Gusdorff sold his four centers to a larger urgent care company from Maryland. Dr. Gusdorff's goals now are focused around helping new or struggling urgent care and primary care practices achieve the same results his centers realized.
