Recorded April 18, 2016

Course Description:

Review four recent guidelines from the American Academy of Pediatrics: febrile UTI, RSV bronchiolitis, acute bacterial sinusitis, and acute otitis media. Learning Objectives:

  • List the three revised diagnostic criteria for acute bacterial sinusitis.
  • Describe the newest recommendations regarding albuterol use in bronchiolitis.
  • Define the risk factors for febrile UTI in infant boys and girls.
  • Describe the circumstances when a urine culture and a catheterization are required in the evaluation of febrile UTI.
