Faculty Bio: Enaka M. Yembe, MD
Dr. Enaka Yembe, is a Board Certified Family Medicine Physician. She is the founder, President and CEO of American Stat-Care Centers, which served the Monroe and West Monroe areas from October of 2006 to March 2015. Dr. Yembe was actively involved in medical education serving as a clinical training instructor for medical students from the Louisiana State University in Shreveport, students from surrounding area nurse practitioner programs and medical assistant programs. Dr. Yembe completed her medical education in the “Universita Degli Studi Di Milano in Milan Italy in 1997. After a year of Transitional Medicine in Howard University Hospital in Washington DC, she moved to Monroe in 2002 where she completed a Family Medicine Residency and graduated as Resident of the Year in 2005. Dr. Yembe opened her first Urgent Care Clinic in 2006 and grew to three clinics in the first 4 years. She has now relocated to Texas and is working on another Urgent Care start up. Dr Yembe believes that the strength of her team resides in creating a culture of positive energy, personal growth and a family atmosphere. Her unique down to earth patient centered care literally kept patients and their families coming back to her for over ten years. Dr. Enaka Yembe is now also an inspiring, informative and dynamic speaker and coach whose primary mission is to EMPOWER individuals and organizations to gain the leadership skills they need to GROW TO SUCCESS. She is also Certified John Maxwell Speaker and Coach, a member of multiple professional and social groups. Dr. Yembe is a wife, a mother and a #1 best selling author of the book, Grow to SUCCESS.
