Preparing for a Laboratory Survey

This session helps laboratories understand why and how CLIA and COLA surveys (inspections) occur and how to prepare for them. The speaker has guided dozens of physician office laboratories through the survey process, and has learned how to best organize the information to make the survey go more smoothly. Glean ways to avoid frequent pitfalls and how to prepare a Plan of Corrective Actions or Plan of Required Improvements, if needed.
